The nominations for the inaugural FD Gazellen International Award 2023 are out and we are pleased to announce that i3D.net has made it to the list!
Het Financieele Dagblad (FD) is the leading newspaper on economic subjects in the Netherlands. The newspaper awards the fastest-growing companies in the Netherlands every year through the FD Gazellen award, but this year is the first time that the publication has also set up an all-new award for Dutch companies achieving success on the international stage.
The new prize celebrates international entrepreneurship and assesses the operations of Dutch companies overseas to see if they merit a nomination. i3D.net is one of 53 companies that can call themselves FD Gazelle International 2023.
In order to be nominated, the judges consisting of renowned Dutch business leaders, assess all nominees based on several criteria including whether at least 25% of your revenue is earned internationally in 2022, a growth in revenue of at least 25% between 2020 and 2022 and a minimum revenue level.
i3D.net started its operations in the Netherlands in 2002 and has steadily grown its international presence over its 20-year existence. The company expanded first to Germany and then France in 2007. This was followed by a period of cementing the company’s international position and growing the network by opening more locations globally.
i3D.net opened locations in Washington DC, Sydney, Tokyo and Los Angeles in 2010, and entered the South American market in 2012. Through acquisitions, it grew its presence within the US market and opened an office in the Los Angeles region. The i3D.net US team has seen a 4-fold growth in the past five years and is still growing every month.
i3D.net currently operates a network of 60+ datacenters in over 30 countries on 6 continents across the globe.
i3D.net’s success stems from its strategic goal to connect with global audiences, which has primed the company for international growth in its two-decade history. This has naturally translated into a focus on an international network with global support, and a diverse team of specialists consisting of over 24 nationalities working remotely and at our offices. As a result, i3D.net has become one of the leading providers of high-performance hosting and global infrastructure services. The company operates a low-latency network, with thousands of servers spread over 40+ points of presence on 6 continents.
The winner for FD Gazellen International 2023 will be announced on April 6, 2023, during Trends in Export in Rotterdam.
