Rotterdam, The Netherlands – August 22, 2023 – i3D.net, one of the leading players in the game hosting space, has integrated support for Tencent Cloud, the cloud business of global technology company Tencent, into the Game Server Orchestrator of its ONE platform.
With Tencent Cloud, i3D.net is adding another cloud platform on top of other public cloud providers that will allow customers to use in-house built server orchestration based on the concurrent users (CCU) in-game. The addition of Tencent Cloud will enable more flexibility for its customers leveraging the Game Server Orchestrator, especially in Asia where Tencent Cloud has extensive coverage.
Tencent Cloud’s customers can combine their account with i3D.net’s infrastructure. This means they can use our bare metal as a base layer, to optimize their game’s performance, stability and their infra costs. By doing this they also gain access to the ONE platform where they can monitor their capacity on bare metal and Tencent Cloud.
This integration further solidifies i3D.net’s hosting platform as the hybrid cloud solution of choice specifically built for game developers. The hosting platform uniquely combines the performance and affordability of a bare metal solution with the flexibility of the public cloud providers.
By providing a platform that is completely cloud-agnostic, i3D.net can provide its customers with the freedom to choose which compute resources best fits with any multiplayer game deployment strategy.
